T-Shirts: Take-in Sides
You’ll need a friend to help with pinning for this alteration.
While wearing the t-shirt, have your helper pinch the excess fabric along the side seam and insert safety pins all the way down to the hem. The highest pin will guide us — we’ll taper the fit smoothly up to the armhole.
Repeat on the other side, matching the amount of fabric so both sides are even. It doesn’t need to be perfect — we’ll average and refine it for you.
If this if your first time taking in the sides, here’s a video by TMTailor: Watch here.
If you’re sending more shirts, just update the quantity box.
