I’m Alma, and tailoring has been in my blood for generations. Growing up in Milan — the capital of tailoring and high fashion — I was surrounded by beauty, craftsmanship, and style. Inspired as a child by the elegance of Milan, I learned to sew from my mother, grandmother, and aunties, holding a needle before I could read. By the time I finished school, I was working in an atelier, mastering both traditional and modern tailoring.

Over the past 14 years, Alma’s Alterations grew into five successful shops in Brighton. During lockdown, we transitioned into a private studio, refining our expertise in wedding dresses, suits, and bespoke alterations.
